13Wives is the story of 13 ladies and their man behind the bar. This tucked-away specialist little cocktail bar mixes up one of a kind potent concoctions inspired by each of the femme fatale protagonist.

twenty-seven + 2011 recap.
Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 12:10PM
My birthday was earlier this week, but I'm still eating cake and doing nothing — so the celebration continues! Twenty-six was busy, but so good to me:
- Taking a two-year break from your career to go back to school never sounds ideal, but I could not have chosen a better time to attend grad school. My classmates are amazing and the workload is a healthy (or not?) balance somewhere between challenge, hard work, and reward.
- Another year, another nephew! My family back in Michigan keeps growing and I continue to have great friends and awesome clients here in Chicago. I love love love this city.
- The women of Quite Strong continue to be an inspiration to me and as we close out our second year as a collaborative we're still going… strong.
I hate when people say, "life is good", but life is good. I'll be working on a list of resolutions and wishing you all a happy and healthy 2012, cheers!
