multifaceted.

The City of Melbourne's logo redesign is not new, but remains one of my all-time favs. Designed by Landor, the bold 'M' appears throughout the city in various colors and cuts, making it easy to manage across several different entities (think: city council, local initiatives, programs, services, events, and activities).

I love flexible brands like this one because they lend themselves to so much interpretation and are sustainable over time. You can read more about the design direction and concept on Behance.

good ideas are often recycled.

Today I'm loving Don Ervin's work for Herman Miller.

Foodie Registry launches!

I'm not even a foodie, but let's face it, by the time I get married, I won't be needing most of the traditional wedding presents. Foodie Registry offers a way for couples to ask for local dining experiences, instead of more household items. The list of participating restaurants is growing and I'm excited to watch them take off!

And yes, I designed their logo :)
