13 wives.

I love everything about this poster series by Foreign Policy Design Group — great use of photography, nice type, and color palette.

13Wives is the story of 13 ladies and their man behind the bar. This tucked-away specialist little cocktail bar mixes up one of a kind potent concoctions inspired by each of the femme fatale protagonist.

in tendem.

Tandem wraps up another great project for Herman Miller (and I'm hardcore digging the color and typography on these silkscreened posters).

The cabinets, originally designed by George Nelson in 1946, were created as a flexible and modular storage system fit for multiple rooms and environments. To drive home this concept, we used modular typefaces and design elements throughout the campaign as well as a vintage illustration style, reminiscent of mid-century Herman Miller print materials.

Check out the other Nelson Basic Cabinet Series promo pieces here.

enter late & cross your fingers.

I'm kicking myself in the butt for not following STA Chicago's Archive 10 famous tweet "enter early & enter often." I've lucked out (and so have you), the Society of Typographic Arts will now be taking contest submissions up until August 20th! So get to it and download the entry form now.
